Scissors

So Ainsley's homework for preschool this week was to make a collage of the things she loves. She was supposed to cut the pictures out and glue them herself. Silly me thought that she must be using scissors in school. "Noooo! Scissors are dangerous." Ainsley tells me when I asked if she uses them at school. She did very well, I was proud!

With the finshed product that she did all on her own- even typed out her own name! :)

Rubie LOVES scissors. It all started with those play dough scissors, and now she has her own scissors that she uses to "help" me cut coupons. Her "coupons" are just ripped pieces of paper, but she thinks she cuts. More practice.

SOOOOO cute. Love the collage. When Victoria was 4 and in preschool,we had a parent-teacher conference with report card and all. My brilliant and talented daughter was outstanding in ALL areas, all except CUTTING. Who'da thunk I was supposed to let my baby cut. You are clearly both (Julie and you) better mothers than I. Your babies won't get a Needs Improvement on their first preschool report cards.

Ainsely's hair appears to be getting darker. Is this just the lighting or is it really getting dark?
