Perfect outfit for getting the mail....

Getting strong!

Allie has made so much progress lately- here she is trying to get herself up on her knees. She'll be crawling before we know it!

Solids!

Allie started rice cereal last week! She did so well. She knew immediately to open up and put the spoon in her mouth (thanks for the spoons Aunt Kelly!). The taste of the rice cereal though, she was not sold on. We are moving on to applesauce which I bet she will like a lot more!

Spider Girl

Ainsley studied bugs at school for a few weeks. They even got to see a bug show! I love Crossroads- they have the greatest "special activities" for the kids each month. Here she is in her spider hat. :)

Hang on, let me pose

Aye-yi-yi. Ainsley was playing in the backyard and saw me coming out with the camera. "Hang on, let me pose!" she shouted and then does this...

We are in trouble.

Disneyland

Being off track is wonderful! Ainsley and I decided to go to Disneyland last Wednesday. It was a rainy day and so it was not very busy... perfect for us.

We started the day at Ariel's Grotto for the Princess Lunch. Ainsley got to meet Ariel first-

then Cinderella (her favorite)

Snow White

Princess Aurora from Sleeping Beauty

and Belle

We also got to have a very fun lunch- just being her and I made it very special!

As you can see, she was quite tired after lunch... she took a quick snooze while Mommy zoomed her across CA Adventure and into Disneyland to go on Pirates. She did it with no tears! YEA!

Then we went on Dumbo, her favorite ride-

After playing in Fantasyland for a while we headed down Main St. to leave. As we got near the train station, characters were everywhere. Thank God for Mickey Mouse for grabbing Ainsley by the hand and leading her back to her Mommy who was screaming for her after she jumped out of the stroller and took off running for him.
She got to visit with Pluto, Chip, Dale, Goofy, & Donald. It was a great day!

Party

This weekend we went to a birthday party for the little brother of one of Ainsley's friends. It was at a place called Child's Play which is an indoor playground. It was such an awesome place. Ainsley had a blast!

Allie really enjoyed the mirrors. How cute is that face?

Gymboree!

Allie has started going to Gymboree classes just like Ainsley did. I had hoped she would like them, but I had no idea how much she would enjoy it! Seing the other kids, the colors, songs, chants, and especially Gymbo the clown just makes her light up. Gymbo time and the tummy time on the mirror are her favorites. Unfortunately pictures are really difficult to take while playing with her!
Here she is with the finger puppets.

and the bubbles...

and Gymbo!

giving him some extra love

First stuffed animal

Allie has not really given much attention to toys. A few weeks ago we were walking through Target and she saw this stuffed bunny on the shelf. She started sqwaking at it and it was obvious she wanted him. They are friends now. :)

Ainsley's Valentine Party

Ainsley's class had a Valentine's Day party. She had a blast eating heart shaped brownies with strawberries, whipped cream and cherry 7-up. :) Her festive clothing fir in perfect- thanks Grandma!!!
