Gymboree!

Allie has started going to Gymboree classes just like Ainsley did. I had hoped she would like them, but I had no idea how much she would enjoy it! Seing the other kids, the colors, songs, chants, and especially Gymbo the clown just makes her light up. Gymbo time and the tummy time on the mirror are her favorites. Unfortunately pictures are really difficult to take while playing with her!
Here she is with the finger puppets.

First stuffed animal

Allie has not really given much attention to toys. A few weeks ago we were walking through Target and she saw this stuffed bunny on the shelf. She started sqwaking at it and it was obvious she wanted him. They are friends now. :)

Ainsley's Valentine Party

Ainsley's class had a Valentine's Day party. She had a blast eating heart shaped brownies with strawberries, whipped cream and cherry 7-up. :) Her festive clothing fir in perfect- thanks Grandma!!!

The Shop

A lot of people ask me what the shop is like for the girls- it is like home to them. Here are a few pics.

Allie playing on her play mat upstairs. Please note that she does not usually play nicely like this without tears- it is a rare occurance!

So proud

I am so proud of my girls!!

Allie has been rolling over from belly to back for quite a while. This weekend she started rolling from back to belly! Now she just rolls across the floor until she gets to what she is looking for. It is amazing how much happier she is now that she can move!

Ainsley is doing so well writing her name. She has been practicing and is even signing her name to her valentines for each of her 18 classmates. :)

Scissors

So Ainsley's homework for preschool this week was to make a collage of the things she loves. She was supposed to cut the pictures out and glue them herself. Silly me thought that she must be using scissors in school. "Noooo! Scissors are dangerous." Ainsley tells me when I asked if she uses them at school. She did very well, I was proud!

With the finshed product that she did all on her own- even typed out her own name! :)
